Design inspiration comes from a Qing Dynasty, Qianlong-period light moon-white gauze palace garment, embroidered with floral and butterfly motifs, in the Palace Museum Beijing. Xiapei is a shawl-like garment worn by women in ancient times, splendid and vivid, as beautiful as rosy clouds. From the Song Dynasty onward, Xiapei became the ceremonial attire of titled women; it could not be worn without an imperial bestowal, and different patterns were used as ornaments according to social status. This Xiapei keepsake features a double-layer magnetic design that is easy to separate, gorgeous radiant colors, and multiple auspicious motifs, including cloud motifs, scrolling lotus (interlaced lotus) motifs, bat motifs, and more, symbolizing blessings and auspiciousness with a distinctive traditional charm.

The exquisite UV printing is rich and vivid, and is embellished with small beads to recreate the luster. Fine craftsmanship restores the Xiapei silhouette, and the double-layer construction creates a three-dimensional texture with a satisfying weight. It also features imitation Xiapei floating ribbons with a unique shape and raised floral motifs, along with a beaded pendant ornament and Ruyi tassels that shimmer with an iridescent, captivating red glow. The strong magnetic hold makes it easy to attach and keeps it securely in place without shifting.
