Flora Botanical Garden

A quintessential European garden, the entrance features a manor, courtyards, fountains, vine-covered corridors, and tiered pools. The nearby zoo makes it ideal for families, who often visit the zoo first and then the botanical garden. Weekends see a mix of families at the zoo and couples and older visitors at the garden.

The central terrace, visible upon entering, is a perfect spot for adults to relax, sunbathe, dine, chat, and enjoy the breeze. Unlike the extensive Kew Gardens in the UK, Flora Botanical Garden has fewer plant varieties and lacks region-specific sections. Instead, plants are grouped by type. Tropical plants are housed in the large glasshouse, while various flowers and plants are scattered around the lawns and rockeries, making for a less structured layout. Well-marked signs help visitors identify the different plants.
